Meet our School Administrators

Casey Faulkenberry
I am excited to be entering my fourth year as the Principal of Camden Middle School. Previously, I served for four years as the Assistant Principal at Stover Middle, and two years as the Director of Alternative Education for the Continuous Learning Center & Virtual Academy. This is my 16th year in education, all of them in Kershaw County.
I am proud that I am a product of the Kershaw County School District. My educational background beyond Kershaw County includes a B.A. from Newberry College and an M.Ed. in Administration from the University of South Carolina. My professional experience includes writing curriculum, leading professional committees, working with students of various talents and interests, and coaching multiple sports.
I am married to Amy Godwin Faulkenberry and we have two sons, Corbett and Hudson, and one daughter, Charlotte.
I look forward to a great year with the CMS family as we strive to make our school the best it can be for our students, parents, teachers, and the overall community.

This will be my 15th year in education overall and all of them have been here in Kershaw County.
In 2021, I was named a KCSD Honor Roll Teacher while teaching at the Continuous Learning Center. I completed the Kershaw County Developing Administrators Program and am a member of the Palmetto State Teachers Association and the South Carolina Association of School Administrators.
I have grown up in Kershaw County and graduated from Lugoff-Elgin High School. My husband and I reside in Elgin with our daughter Haisley. We love spending time with Haisley, watching football, and hanging out by the pool.
